Whisky #12: Cragganmore 12yo

Has the aroma of singed wet nettles. Fairly floral with a runny honey undercurrent. Breath-taking finish, i.e. a swift sour notes takes your breath away.

It's only later that there's a wonderful tingle on the lips, a spicy and nearly hoppy mouthfeel. Not going to be reaching for this too often but, damn, this long sherbert afterburn is good.

Today's weather; cold front moving westwards as pressure lifts
