Whisky #9: Tobermory 10yo
Gloopy in the glass, aroma of damp earth under wet leaves.
Difficult to nail the taste; shorter than Ernie Wise. Sweet, malty, those nuts that no-one eats out the mix at Xmas. Pleasant tingly finish.
There's a fine line between understated and underflavoured; Tobermory hovers toward the latter.
